Larry Eugene Little

Larry Eugene
Little, 68, of Matthews, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father on
April 25, 2013.
Larry was born April 12, 1945 in
Charlotte to the late Fred and Dorothy Little. He is preceded in
death by his brother, Fred Jr.
Mr. Little served in the
US Navy on U.S.S. Rich. He graduated from Central Piedmont for
his Fire Science Degree; retiring from Charlotte Fire Department
after many years of dedicated service. His most recent career
choice was Customer Service for Carquest. He was a long time
member of Garr Memorial Church- serving different capacities
such as Deacon, Board Member, Head Usher and Sunday School
Teacher. He shared his special memories of Camp Lurecrest.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife 28 years, Pollie Little;
his sons, Larry, Jr and Christopher Little; stepsons, Jack and
Bodie Ramsey; stepdaughters, Kitty Feldon and Karen Phillips;
sisters, Delores Wood, Crystal Miller and Robin Hedden; 12
grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will
be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11AM at Garr Memorial
Church with burial to follow at Crown Memorial Park. The family
will begin to receive friends at 10AM.
In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to Garr Memorial Church.
