I want to invite you to view and share with your shipmates and family a video sponsored by the Tin Can Sailors Association (used with permission) that appeals to everyone to help donate and support the historic museum Destroyer fleet.  The one organization dedicated to the memory and history of Destroyers, TCS is leading a effort to support the longterm preservation of USS Laffey, USS The Sullivans, USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr, USS Kidd, USS Turner Joy, and others.  

This video was filmed aboard the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr DD850 during our May 2010 Major field day. We are honored that Tin Can Sailors utilized the efforts aboard KENNEDY as a quality example of the importance of our nations Destroyer fleet.  It also gives you a excellent idea of the difficulties with these ships, current views of DD850, and efforts during a field day.
