Returning Vets and Unemployment

I thought our shipmates may find it interesting how military veterans stand vis-à-vis unemployment. Here are the statistics for the month of February 2013:
		National: 7.7% (down .2%) All Vets: 6.9% (down .7%) Post- 9/11: 9.4% (down 2.3%) 18-24: 36.2% (up 4.9%) 25-34: 8.8% (down 2.7%) 35-44: 6.3% (down .2%) 45-54: 4.6% (down 1.2%) 55+: 7.0% (down .2%)
Our returning Afghanistan/Iraq vets not only have an incredibly large unemployment rate, the trend is getting worse. Yours in service, Chuck Weber Registered Veterans Service Officer
