VA Travel Pay Changes |
Effective December 31, 2021, VetLink Kiosks located at VA health care
facilities will no longer accept beneficiary travel claims,
but there is no need to be concerned!
It is now easier than ever before to file a travel claim using the newly
upgraded Beneficiary Travel Self-Service System (BTSSS). No long lines,
no paper copies, 24/7 service, and faster processing times! More
importantly, Veterans and caregivers can submit a claim from any
web-ready device from the comfort of their own homes or wherever they
may be.
To submit a claim today, visit
https://access.va.gov,
select the Veteran Travel Claim Entry icon, and logon using a DS Logon,
My HealtheVet, ID.me, or VA PIV account. If you don't have one of these
accounts, you can register for a sign-in partner account. Follow the
instructions for your chosen account to sign in. To get help filing a first claim using BTSSS, eligible Veterans and caregivers may get help from a travel clerk at the facility or refer to the BTSSS user’s guide at www.va.gov/health-care/get-reimbursed-for-travel-pay. A help desk phone number is also available at 1-855-574-7292.
